Open Knitting FREE
Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. 
Join us and work on those projects you have almost done or start something new.  We always have a good time and you'll be surprised at how quickly you'll whittle away on unfinished "things".....Good conversation, a little coffee, a little help and more!

Knitting 101 Two 1 1/2 hour sessions $25
This is for the novice knitter or someone who wants to have a refresher on how to knit.  In the first meeting, you will be shown how to cast on and the knit stitch and start your first project.  In the second session, you will be shown how to purl and how to bind off.  You will be shown how to combine the two stitches for ribbing and we'll do some beginner work on mixing the two stitches up and do a few basic designs. Call to schedule your private class at your convenience.

Mariposa Shawl   Four 2-hour sessions Free
Wed, Feb. 3, 17 & 24   10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This beauty is in the store for you to see.  Knit with all sparkles, a few sparkles or none at all, this shawl is gorgeous.  This is for the intermediate knitter. We'll be knitting from charts, learning different pattern stitches and much more.  Should be lots of fun while knitting and an amazing shawl when we are done. This is a shawl you'll have forever.  This is a knitalong so feel free to join us at any time.

Sock Knitalong Free
Thursday, Feb.4, 11, 18 & 25 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.   
We are starting "Striken" this month and would love to have any sock knitters join us for this amazingly beautiful sock.  We always have a good time and end up with a gorgeous pair of socks!.   We will be meeting every Thursday this month so grab your lunch and come on down.  We have the pattern in the store for you to see if you are interested in joining us.

Socks on Circulars  Four 2-hour sessions $50 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Sat., Feb. 13, 20, 27& March 6
We have scheduled a day time class for all of you who asked for it!!  Learn how to knit socks the easy way!!  You will learn how to knit socks on two circular needles from start to finish.  At the end of the class, you'll be wearing your sock.  This is a great learning class.  Besides knowing how to knit socks, you will learn many finishing techniques along the way, how to pick up stitches correctly, left and right increases and decreases, how to read a pattern and more.  

Cable Scarf One 1 1/2-hour sessions $20 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Thur., February 18
A great way to learn how to cable if you've never tried it before, this scarf is gorgeous. Knit on a chunky yarn, this is a beauty.  A beginner project that's easy to do with big results. 

All Wrapped Up Two 2-hour sessions $35
Sat. Feb. 20 & 27   10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
A great reversible wrap knit with sports weight or worsted weight yarn.  You'll love it! Sample is in the store.  We'll be doing a Fisherman Rib, M1's and we'll be picking up stitches and throwing in some ribbing.  The finished product is beautiful.

Highlanders Stole  One 1 1/2-hour session Free
Thurs, Feb. 25   6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
This wrap from Town & Country Knits is warm and toasty!  For those of you who knit the argyle scarf, you already have the book.  We have the sample in the store for you to see.  This has alternating rows of cables which gives a big, bold basketweave pattern to the stole.  This is knit on bulky yarn and size 35 needles so it goes fast!!

La sophistication Four 1 1/2-hour sessions $45 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wed, Mar. 3, 10, 17 & 24 6:00 p.m.7:30 p.m.   
Knit this with our new yarn from Sublime!!!  The yarn is a luxurious woolly merino yarn that you can knit up in the simplest of stitches to get a stunning look.  We have the sample in the store.  A perfect beginner sweater knit on size 9's to go quickly.

Sweater Knitalong FREE
Thursdays, March 4, 11, 18 & 25 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
We REALLY are going to finish those sweaters we've started!!!!  Please join us for this great knitalong. We are starting the Swing Sweater by Debbie Bliss knit on worsted weight yarn.  This graceful swing coat has slightly fared sleeves and a great face0framing wide collar.  Knitted in garter stitch, it's easy to knit and easy to wear!

Ruffles to Riches Bag Three 2-hour sessions$40
Sat., March 6, 13 & 27 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.   
We've had many requests to do this bag so here you are!!!  We have two samples of this bag in the store.  A fun bag to knit and felt with great details.  Makes yours as plain or fancy as you want to.  Lots to learn in this project and a fun felting project too.  

Magnum Scarf One 1 1/ 1-hour session $20
Tuesday, March 9 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.   
A "right in style" scarf knit with bulky yarn in the moss stitch.  The scarf is in the store and knit with Cascade magnum.  It knits up quickly with magnificent results.  You'll want to knit several for gifts!

Russian Hat  Two 2-hour sessions $30
Thur, March 11 & 18  Two 2-hour sessions 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
This is knit with only two balls of our newest Sublime yarn....woolly merino.  Knit on straights with a seam in the back, there is lots to keep your interest in knitting this.  Warm and toasty and cute on everyone. 

Big V Vest- Three 1 1/2-hour sessions $35 1:00p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Sat, Mar. 13, 20 & 27 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.   
We love, love, love this vest knit in a new yarn for the store.  It is bamboo and cotton and soft as can be with a perfect drape.  The sample is hanging in the store.  Lots to learn for the new knitter and great fun for the more experienced, this vest is a perfect vest on anyone.  Everyone will learn something with this pattern!!!!


Finishing Your Projects & Get A Little Help
Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. - 3.00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
We are continuing with our Finishing and so far so good!!!   This time is reserved for those who need a little bit of help so please use this scheduled time if you have a question or two.   We'll have Wednesdays from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 PM. and Saturday  from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. scheduled.  Come on in if you need a little help getting finished with your current projects.

Private Lessons $15 per hour
Need one-on-one attention to learn the skills of your choice?  You pick the day and time convenient for you.

Hands-on Help
Stuck?  Need a little bit of help?  Forget how to cast on or off?  Help is at hand.  All The Knitting Room customers are welcome to come in for up to a 15-minute session with no appointment necessary, and there is no charge.  However, hands-on help is not a substitute for knitting lessons or individual instruction.  If you require more help, we can schedule a time for you to get more in-depth one-on-one assistance.  The charge will be $15 per 30 minutes.
